He also formerly co-founded Westwing France, a leading e-commerce business selling inspiring Home & Living products, with over 30 million members in 14 different countries.
He began his career working at Total for 10 years, in Project Finance and Investor Relations, before founding Awango by Total, a company distributing solar solutions in emerging markets.
Amir, holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence & Computer Vision and a Specialized Master degree in Image processing and Electronics.
He is habilitated to conduct research projects (HDR) and is an Associate Professor at the University of Paris Est Créteil, within the LISSI Laboratory (Images, Signals, Intelligent Systems). He published more than 160 research papers and 5 books on AI and Computer Vision.
He previously worked as a Research Manager at Logxlabs, an AI agency to solve large-scale industrial problems.
