November 2017
Launch of Cyclope.ai
The VINCI group decided to invest in a dedicated AI company whose mission is to invent products for the future of roads: the team started by making the most of the image data coming from the road network.
June 2018
Tollsense at scale
Cyclope.ai deployed Tollsense across the entire VINCI Autoroutes toll network: more than 360 million transactions are processed every year by our Tollsense algorithms.
May 2019
Tunnelwatch in Toulon
The operating team of the Toulon tunnel chose Cyclope.ai's next-generation automatic incident detection (AID) software to replace their outdated solution, which raised too many false alarms.
January 2020
The Roadshare solution
Cyclope.ai worked with Cegelec EDR to develop a robust integrated roadside device able to accurately detect the number of occupants in vehicles traveling at high speed.
October 2020
SaaS video traffic analysis
Cyclope.ai developed a video-based traffic characterization solution that, using roadside cameras only, detects and classifies every vehicle on the road into predefined classes.
2021
Tunnelwatch on the A86

International rollout
Cyclope.ai software crosses borders: first deployments with concession operators outside France, from Australia (Transurban) to Peru (Lima Expresa).
2023
Research published at ICCV
The team's work on adaptive image anonymization is accepted at ICCV, one of the leading computer vision conferences - with an acceptance rate below 17%.
2024
Patrolcare awarded - a world first
